Experience
I received an associates degree in plant and soil science in 2008, and my Bachelors degree in Animal Science in 2012. I've managed a full service, large equine breeding facility, owned horses for 10 years and have trimmed full time for the last 8 years serving the Illinois-Missouri-Iowa areas.
I went through a certification program when I first started hoof care and kept on learning ever since! I've studied many different theories of barefoot hoof care as well as traditional farriery to combine the best of both worlds. The horse is the ultimate judge of my work!

Hobbies
Besides being obsessed with everything horse and educating owners, I also love to participate in archery events, work on my truck, continue building my vintage camper, fish, hike and do pretty much anything outdoors.
I've been unable to ride for the last several years due to a heavy work schedule and rehabbing my own horses, but I'm hoping that changes soon! We are moving to Wyoming and I'm itchy to get on some dusty trails.

Goals
My biggest goal is to help every horse owner I meet. Even if it's just something super small! If someone only takes my free course on thrush care and they are able to heal the frogs on their horse, that's a win in my book!
I want every owner to walk away from my courses feeling empowered and confident in their ability to care for their horses and their hooves.
A long-term dream of mine is to own a ranch where I can rehab horses and then use them for therapy and riding with people. Horses are so healing and healing them is a huge passion of mine!
